North Central Region
Aglow International

NOTES FROM BARB

Welcome....We were expecting you!

My name is Barb Skoff and I am the U.S. Director of the North Central Region of AGLOW International.

You will find out that AGLOW is a safe place for you. The AGLOW ministry embraces men & women of every race, every denomination and all economic backgrounds. This is a Christian ministry where you will find friends and establish life-long relationships.

This is a place that, if you find yourself in need of prayer, you will receive it. This is a place to learn more about God and the Bible among women who are also seeking the same. This can be a place where you spread your wings and learn how to minister to other
women.

We have all sorts of meetings to enable you in this. We have Bible studies, support groups and prayer groups. We also have monthly community meetings that are called Lighthouse Meetings where we learn, worship together and laugh and grow in our faith.

To find out how to locate someone in this region, click on the state that you want from the left menu and you will find the area teams listed there. They will be glad to help you find an AGLOW fellowship near you.

WE ARE INDEED A NETWORK OF PRAYING AND CARING MEN & WOMEN!

March 16, 2011

Hello ladies,

Have a Marvelous Mid-March!

It has been a very busy beginning of the year for me.  I have been on three separate trips to the West Coast, including Oregon, Washington and California.

But it is so good to be home.

I will be attending several retreats this spring. Thanks so much for inviting me.  I had to turn down several retreats for various reasons.  One is that my granddaughter is having a baby!  And there are showers to attend!

Anyway, I wanted to remind you of the SPC offering that you should be receiving for your SPC at your retreats.  And even if you have three sessions, you can squeeze in an extra offering in a creative way without losing one of your offerings.  Thanks for doing this.

Another reminder is that Aglow International is open to men.  Some of our lighthouses are still stating that it is a women's ministry.  We should try to slide out that definition as we talk or publicize anything.  Always say that Men Are Welcome.  We desire for men to attend.

I don't want to leave anyone out but here are some of the scheduled retreats:
March 25 & 26   Northern Illinois at Rockford
April 1 & 2    Northeast Mn. at Grand .
April 8 & 9   Northwest Mn. at Bemidji
April 8 & 9   Chicago North Suburban at Zion Il.
April 8 & 9    Southern IL
April 15 & 16  North Wisconsin
May 6 & 7    Southern Wisconsin at Green Lake

Be blessed with love,

Barb
